CWB invites you to a lecture on "The White Rose (die Weiße Rose) and Resistance in Nazi Germany
...and its Legacy in Present Day Germany" by Adam Oberlin, PhD (Linsly School) & Isabel Ranner (Classrooms Without Borders). Adam Oberlin will discuss the history of the student group and their efforts. As a German native, Isabel Ranner will address the White Rose's legacy in present-day Germany and its impact on young Germans in shaping their identity.

Classrooms without Borders is proud to host the traveling exhibition "The White Rose: Student Resistance against Hitler, Munich 1942/43", courtesy of the Weiße-Rose-Foundation in Munich, in various locations in the Greater Pittsburgh area from October to December 2014. The exhibit will be on display in the Wheeling Jesuit University Art Gallery from November 2-14 Mondays-Fridays from noon to 5pm or by appointment.
